L633 VCV | Mercedes 709 | Fleet No. 6633

New to Western National in 1994 with fleet number 633, this Mercedes Benz 709 with B23F Plaxton body was part of a large batch working out of Plymouth and Cornwall. Primarily based at St Austell and Delabole, later renumbered 6633, the mini bus was recently purchased by Trev Jacket, Kieron Towler and David Jory for ongoing preservation. Extended thanks must be given to the previous owners who have preserved the bus since 2017 for undertaking substantial work to keep the bus in working order.  

The vehicle is currently off the road in need of substantial welding to the main body frame which was started in the Autumn of 2024. A re-trim and repaint into Western National blue and white flags livery will follow at a later date.
