One of 6 vehicles bodied by Marshall (1250 - 1255 VOD 120K - VOD 125K) delivered in February 1972 to operate the service between Penzance and Mousehole replacing the Bristol SUS's that had served the route for many years. 1255 was the last operational vehicle of this type with Western National and ended her service where she began at Penzance depot.
For many years she was part of the Western National Preservation Group's fleet where she was left off the road for several years. Since taken on by the Cornwall Bus Preservation Group, she has been unfortunately stored outside and has deteriorated further. The plan for 2021 is to get her prepped for the road including being repainted ready for 2022 Penzance Running Day.
