Since the ‘final’ VR running day on the marque’s withdrawal from service in December 2006, the Cornwall Bus Preservation Society in association with TV&GWOT have revived services around the West Cornwall peninsula each spring with a vintage bus day on the third Sunday in April giving free rides on preserved buses.
The parade of vehicles will start from 09:30 from Long Rock through Penzance Town centre, Alexandra Road, the Promanade and the 1000 departures arriving into Penzance Bus Station.
