Step Back in Time with a Vintage Bus Day in West Cornwall!
Join the Cornwall Bus Preservation Society and Thames Valley & Great Western Omnibus Trust for a nostalgic journey through West Cornwall each year on the easter Sunday - 20th April 2025. Relive the golden age of travel as approximately 40 preserved buses and coaches, including iconic double-deck Bristol VRs, take to traditional routes.
Explore the beauty of Cornwall with free rides to destinations such as Helston, Camborne, Land’s End, St Ives, and the charming fishing village of Mousehole. Single-deck buses will navigate the twists and turns of Mousehole, just as they did over 60 years ago.
The day begins at 09:30 with a grand parade starting from Long Rock and travelling through Penzance Town Centre, Alexandra Road, and the Promenade, arriving at Penzance Bus Station in time for 10:00 departures. Free feeder services from Camborne and St Ives make it easy to join the fun.
Don’t miss this annual celebration of heritage and classic buses!
