M420 CCV | Dennis Dart | Fleet No. 4420

On the 28th March 2021, Dennis Dart 4420 was kindly donated to the CBPS for further preservation. Western National purchased a second batch of 20 narrow Pointer Darts in January 1995 and 4420 is one of 15 fitted to B38F seating congiguration. Delivered new to Camborne with 4419 and 4421. At the same time 4422 - 4426 {fitted DP 37F seating layout) arrived. These Darts were the first ones allocated to west Cornwall and proved very popular. 4422- 4425 were route branded for Service 18, Truro to Penzance and remained until the full width P reg examples were delivered to Camborne in late 1996. Only 4420 now remains after 4422 was the last to fall for scrap!
