VOD 125K | Bristol LHS Marshall B33F | Fleet No. 1255

One of 6 vehicles bodied by Marshall (1250 - 1255 VOD 120K - VOD 125K) delivered in February 1972 to operate the service between Penzance and Mousehole replacing the Bristol SUS's that had served the route for many years. 1255 was the last operational vehicle of this type with Western National and ended her service where she began at Penzance depot.

For many years she was part of the Western National Preservation Group's fleet where she was left off the road for several years. Since taken on by the Cornwall Bus Preservation Group, she has been unfortunately stored outside and has deteriorated further. In October 2023, 1255 was successfully recovered to base camp where much needed attention can be given with the intention to return it to the road within the next 12 months, earlier if possible.
