In July 1993, First Western National purchased 801In July 1993, First Western National purchased four new Volvo Olympian's with Northern Counties coach seated bodies. Sporting the then new 'badgers & flags' livery with the red bordered destination boxes K801 ORL | Volvo Olympian | Fleet No. 801/34001 | CBPG/2/3/4 (K801/2/3/4 ORL), four new Volvo Olympian's with Northern Counties coach seated bodies. Sporting the then new 'badgers & flags' livery with the red bordered destination boxes - common to Plymouth, they looked very smart. These were for the X80 Plymouth - Torquay service initially and worked most of their life out of Plymouth or Torpoint depots however, they have ventured further west to Penzance! By 2014, only 801 (K801 ORLIn July 1993, First Western National purchased four new Volvo Olympian's with Northern Counties coach seated bodies. Sporting the then new 'badgers & flags' livery with the red bordered destination boxes K801 ORL | Volvo Olympian | Fleet No. 801/34001 | CBPG) and 803 (K803 ORL) were left and soon the opportunity to save one of these survivors was possible.
