Work started on Sunday in preparation for the running day with the OlympianLeyland Olympian was a 2-axle and 3-axle double-decker bus chassis manufactured by British Leyland/Leyland Bus in the United Kingdom from 1980 to 1993. It was the last Leyland bus model in production being prepared for MOTMinistry of Transport test and the VarioMercedes-Benz Vario (model designation W670) is a heavy van manufactured by Mercedes-Benz being bought in for some maintenance.

Steve, Derek and a little help from me, inspected the OlympianModels of double decker bus built by Leyland and Volvo: * Leyland Olympian * Volvo Olympian * Volvo Olympian (low-floor), also known as Volvo B9TL   finding very little that would fail an MOT (couple of bulbs and a spot of welding!). Hopefully Steve will be able to get it booked in very soon and so will be one less job on the list!

The Vario was suffering from a fuel starvation problem which was quickly found by Steve and is now running well.
